Overview
SolveStep ("we", "us") operates solvestep.example. This policy explains what information is and isn't collected when you use the site.
Information we collect
The math solver itself runs entirely in your browser — the equations and expressions you type are never sent to our servers or stored by us. We do not require an account, and we do not collect names, emails, or other personal details to use the core tool.
Like most websites, our hosting provider and any analytics tools we enable may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, for the purpose of understanding site usage and maintaining security.
Cookies
We may use essential cookies for basic site functionality and, in the future, analytics cookies to understand aggregate traffic patterns. We do not currently run advertising and therefore do not use advertising cookies at this time. If that changes, this policy will be updated in advance.
Third-party services
We may use third-party analytics or hosting infrastructure providers who process technical data on our behalf, subject to their own privacy policies.
Children's privacy
SolveStep is designed to be usable by students of all ages, including those under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the core solving tool requires no personal data to function.
Your choices
You can use SolveStep's solver without providing any personal information. You may disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date at the top of this page.
